Prof. Obinna L. Chukwu (Chairman)

Professor CHUKWU, Lucian Obinna is the current  Director Academic Planning Unit(Office of the Vice Chancellor), immediate past Director, Quality Assurance and SERVICOM Unit,  Former Member, Governing Council, Former Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies and Former Head, Department of Marine Sciences, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos Nigeria . He was trained at the University of Lagos where he obtained his doctorate degree in Ecosystem Health and Pollution Management and later proceeded to the Coastal Resources Institute, University of Rhode Island, USA for his post doctoral training in Integrated Coastal Management. He has been teaching at the University of Lagos for over twenty-nine years. Professor Chukwu is a specialist on Ecotoxicology and Environmental Risk / Impact Assessment Strategies and Integrated Coastal Area Management. He has been a Consultant to many national and international bilateral and multilateral agencies including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Experts Group on Environment and Development in West and Central Africa; Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO Ocean Data and Information Network in Africa (ODINAFRICA) Project, United Nations Pool of Experts of the Regular Process for Global Reporting and Assessment of the State of the Marine Environment. Professor Chukwu has also had Visiting Fellowship programmes at Harvard University Massachusetts Boston USA, Darden Business School University of Virgina USA, University of South Australia Adelaide Australia, University of Newcastle, Australia, and Sochoow University, China. He has participated and served as resource person in several national and international conferences, workshops and training programmes in Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. He belongs to several professional associations and is a Fellow of Society for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (FEnv) and Fellow of West African Society of Toxicology(FWASOT). He is happily married with children.

Mr. Luke Okonkwo (Trustee)

Luke Okonkwo is the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Trust house Investments Limited, a stockbrokerage firm registered by Securities and Exchange Commission as a Broker/Dealer and licensed by The Nigerian Stock Exchange as a Dealing member of the Exchange. Until February, 1992, he was the Managing Director /Chief Executive of Nigeria Merchant Bank Plc. Okonkwo had also held the position of Chairman of Sunrise Flour Mills Limited. Emene. and Enugu State. He has also served on the Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, Executive Committee of Association of Stockbroking Houses of Nigeria and the Finance Committee of the Bureau of Public Enterprises. He graduated from University of Lagos in 1977 with a first class (HON) degree in Banking and Finance. He also had his MBA Degree from the same university in 1986. He is a member of the following professional bodies; Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and has attended several courses within and outside Nigeria.  Luke Okonkwo was born on the 15. of October 1952, married with children.

Mrs. Shirley Bassey (Trustee)

Mrs. Shirley Bassey is a psychologist and philanthropist. She holds a B.Sc. honors degree in Psychology from the University of Ifs (now, Obaferni Awolowo University), Nigeria. She has over 25 years post-qualification exposure in family counseling, and child psychology. A care-giver, Mrs. Bassey has exceptional passion for the welfare of the less privileged. She serves on the board of directors of some other organizations including the PELSEY-PBTG Group. Mrs. Bassey is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.

Mr. Abayomi D. Sanni (Trustee)

Mr. Abayomi Sannl graduated from the University of Lagos with First Class Honors Degree in Accounting 1980 and holds an MBA degree in Business Administration horn the same University. He has to his credit a number of academic achievements including Dean’s Prize Faculty of Business Administration, University of Lagos in 19218/79 session He is a fellow of Me Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCC)/ Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (AO.), United Kingdom and a fellow of Chanered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (FCTI) He has attended several senior executive programs including. Senior Bankers Program at the Manchester Business School, Advanced Management Program at the 1-2004 Business School, Harvard Business School, among others.  A seasoned management Consultant. Accountant and Banker, Mr Sanni has held senior management positions Banking, Consulting and ProMssional Accounting firms. He was manager in the Accounting and Audit prxtice of Arthur Andersen, Nigeria, before going into banking, where he served at top levels over a period of seven years. He returned to Arthur Andersen in 1990 as a Senior Manager in its Ta X a. Regulatory practice and became a Penner and head of the unit in 1998 Arthur Andersen begone transformed into KPMG Professional Services in 2002 and he held the position of Pd.!r and head of Tax, Regulatory a. People Services [Wis., until he assumed his current position of Chief Operating Officer/Fanner in 2008.  Sanrx is a member of 1100 Club, Lagos, Nigeria. He is happily married with children.

Sir. Nnamdi Oyeka (Trustee)

Sir Nnamdi Oyeka graduated from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus with a degree in Accountancy in 1972. He is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN) with over 45 years post qualification experience. Sir Oyeka has had varied exposure in diverse organizations. After working briefly with United Bank for Africa Plc, he joined Ernst and Whiney (now Ernst & Young) where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. Subsequently he worked as Finance Director of Gicen Technical Services Limited (then franchisee of IBM office products) before setting up his audit practice as Managing Partner of Nnamdi Oyeka & Co. The firm later merged with Alatta Nzewi & Co to form Alatta Nzewi Oyeka & Co. in 2010. In 2019 the firm changed its ·name to ANOC Professional Services and Sir Oyeka is the Managing Partner. He had served as a member of the Board of Appeal Commissioners of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, a Director.of Nigerian Ropes Plc and Finance Consultant to Dr. Chris Ngige when he was Governor of Anambra State. He is currently director of some companies and Chairman of Alor Microfinance Bank Plc. He is married with five children and has many grandchildren. He is a life member of Ikoyi Club 1938.

Mrs. Sotonye Akujobi (Trustee)

Mrs. Sotonye Chinwendu Akujobi was born on January 29, 1960 in Rivers State of Nigeria and had her secondary education at Ovim Girls secondary school in Abia State and latter obtained her BSc. in Business Education from the Rivers state University of Science and Technology in 1985. She worked as an investment officer with Pabod Finance and Investment Limited for five years from 1986 to 1990 before establishing her fashion design business. She is also a Director of Dasot Nigeria Limited. Mrs. Akujobi was involved in the accident that claimed the life of her son. She miraculously survived the injuries sustained from the effects of the accident. She is passionate about providing hope and caring for the less pritrileged in the society and works closely with the Foundation to achieve this aim.

Mr. Dan Akujobi (Trustee)

Mr. Dan Akujobi (Trustee):
Mr. Dan Akujobi is an honours graduate in accounting from the University of Lagos (1980) and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the same University. Mr. Akujobi is an Alumnus of some of the world best business schools, including Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, USA, Manchester Business School, United Kingdom and International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne. Switzerland. A Federal Government Merit Award Scholar, during his undergraduate education, he qualified as a professional Accountant In 1981. Mr. Akujobi is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom, Global Chartered Management Accountants, and The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is a seasoned Banker, Accountant and Management Consultant. Mr. Akujobi has attended many training programs in banking, general management and consulting, organized by leading intenational institutions, including Chase Manhattan Bank NY, Citibank NY, Boot Allen. etc.
